Ben's Story
Ben is the youngest of 8 children and he was born in 1974.  He grew up on a farm, outside of a small town in northwest Missouri.  His brother-in-law, Sonny gave him a guitar when he was 13 years old.  The first song he taught himself to play was "I Walk the Line" by Johnny Cash. 

Then when he was 14, he got a bass guitar and learned how to play piano and started playing in his parent's church at 15.  He started writing his own songs when he was 14 and his first song was titled, "Simply Believe."   

When he turned 17, he started playing upbeat Gospel music in a band that called themselves "High Command."  He was the lead singer.   He is self taught and  plays by ear.   He married the love of his life, Misty in 2002 and they have a beautiful family together.
